Essex Pediatrics, Your Child’s Medical Home
We think of home as a special and important place for children. Ideally, home is a place of safety, warmth, and compassion where children are cared for by family members who do their very best to meet a child’s needs.
At Essex Pediatrics, we work to bring these same qualities to pediatric health care. We want to create a Medical Home for the children and teens in your family, where their health needs are met by a knowledgeable and compassionate health care provider and care team. A Medical Home is not a place – it is the kind of primary health care we all want and deserve.
Our Commitments
Your pediatric team will strive to:
- Know your child’s health history
- Listen to the concerns and needs raised by you and your children
- Develop care plans together with parents and patients, collaborating with other health care providers, when needed
-
Partner with you to ensure that the medical and non-medical needs of your children and family are met
-
Create trusting, collaborative relationships
- Treat our patients with compassion and an understanding of their strengths
- Respect and honor your family’s culture and traditions
Our Requests
We ask parents and patients to:
- Routinely communicate your needs and priorities to your pediatric team
-
Tell your pediatric team about any care received between visits (for example, emergency room or urgent care visits)
